The Echuca West stud sold 73 rams and ewes at its on-property sale on Tuesday, with two Australian White rams taking out the top-place honours fetching $7750, respectively.
Rosylynmead West Sheep studs principal Danny Teskera said he was nervous before the sale.
"We were pretty pleased with the result and we grossed $268,000 for a $3731 average so we were quite humbled by that," Mr Teskera said.
"These rams present much better in real life and that was a general comment of those who attended."
Coronavirus restrictions prevented some prospective buyers from attending, however, the stud's growing client base was pleased with the sheep on offer.
One of the top-priced Aussie White rams, Lot 11, was bought by Peter Wiggins, Glenowra Australian Whites, Condobolin, NSW, who bought 15 of the same breed at the sale.
"We're trying to build our commercial stud to a higher level of production and we want to reach 10,000 breeding ewes by 2022," Mr Wiggins said.
"We needed more rams and we thought we had to have quality rams to meet our standard so these rams will really bulk up our production."
Mr Wiggins said the stud's commercial operation currently featured 8500 breeding ewes across 12,140 hectares in the Lachlan Valley in NSW.
The top-priced rams were sired by Tattykeel 161504 and out of Rosylynmead West ewes.
The second top-priced ram, Lot 5, was bought by RG & CE Fiedler, Diggora.
Another volume buyer at the sale was R & K Wren, Tungamah, who bought four Aussie Whites including the top-priced flock ram.
