Today marks National Agriculture Day, and farmers across Victoria say there are hundreds of reasons to celebrate the occasion.
Central Victorian farmer Martin Fasso, Mia Mia, said the day was about celebrating Aussie agriculture.
"Australian farmers are some of the most resilient and innovative in the world and deserve to be celebrated for the job they do," he said.
"I love working on the land because of the freedom it gives you."
Bravington farmer Sharee Newman said she loved that AgDay acknowledged the importance of farmers.
"As a single mum it can be tough and it certainly has its challenges at times, but I wouldn't have it any other way and it's a great lifestyle, especially for the kids," she said.
