AMID the eggnog consumption, vacuuming up of tinsel and frequently skipping George Michael's Last Christmas on Spotify, many will take the time to read Christmas cards.
To receive an actual, cardboard and paper card in the letterbox is something of a treat in this digital world, particularly if it comes from a loved one or friend who is far away.
Once upon a time, large organisations and corporates would send out Christmas cards to the many businesses they interact with.
These days, it's usually (if anything) a mass e-mail thanking folk for their business and wishing them well into the new year.
With this in mind, it's nice to use Christmas cards as a way of reflecting on what has happened throughout the year.
