LINE 2021: In January 2021, Wade Mercieca, and son Dean, 8, sold 90 Angus mixed-sex weaners including 69 steers. His steers sold to $1815 or 508c/kg.

Weaner numbers have swollen to 3200 at the Wangaratta weaner sale in January as more producers are lured to the centre's competitive selling fees.
