Tasmanian grazier Irene Glover features in this week's social media snapshot after using a horse to carry out some sheep work.
Ms Glover is pictured with her horse Sparkles at The Springs in the Central Highlands of Tasmania ahead of shearing.
At Nar Nar Goon, farmer and avid photographer Penny Carney captured some rainbow lorikeets visiting her West Gippsland property.
Mrs Carney said she was still classified as living in metropolitan Melbourne, despite the rural outlook where she runs cattle.
At the other end of the state, Tex Coles was photographed in the shearing shed learning the ropes from Tex Elliott, a man with more than four decades' experience in the wool game.
The photo was captured at Trealla, Narraport.
