THE 19th annual Banjanda production sale at Waubra was a resounding success.
Stud principals Doug and Barry Hobson presented a catalogue of White Suffolk, Poll Dorset and Border Leicester rams that attracted a good crowd.
The top price of the White Suffolks was $1750 which was achieved for two rams.
Both rams were purchased John Wade of Wade Farms at Bungaree.
Other major buyers of the White Suffolk offering were CG & R Fisher, Lexton, RJ Wells, Mount Egerton, Stepnell Farms, Lexton, BT & G Molloy, Ercildoune, and Thermopylae Enterprises, Pittong.
The top for the Poll Dorset penning was $2050, which was reached on two occasions.
The buyer of both top-priced rams was Charles Edmonston of Brescorn Pty Ltd, Addington.
The offering of Border Leicester rams reached a top of $1550 three times.
The top Border rams went to Neville Oddie of JH Oddie & Co Pty Ltd of Snake Valley, and Russell Fisher of CG & R Fisher of Lexton.
Agents were Nutrien and TB White & Sons.
