Echuca associated agents put together a mixed yarding of around 500 store cattle for their monthly store sale on Monday.
Despite the mixed nature of the offering and the lack of any larger lines of cattle, the sale was described as "very strong".
Northern Victorian Livestock's Jayden Ferrari, said the sale was "very dear".
He said there were no real "quality lines" of cattle.
There was a "fair" run of F1 heifers yarded - Brangus/Friesian and Angus/Friesian cross, he said.
"The heifers were in a range of 280 to 320kg that sold well with one buyer taking the bulk of them," he said.
