As we know life has been very challenging for our farmers over the last few years.
In view of this The Forest Gallery is presenting an exhibition in support of our farming communities.
The Forest Gallery is nestled in the heart of the Wellsford Forest, Epsom (15 minutes from the Bendigo fountain).
Terry Jarvis is the gallery's resident artist and is an award winning artist and tutor at home and abroad.
Water colour is Terry's favourite medium and this exhibition will feature his work depicting life on the land with an array of farming and related scenes.
All artworks will be for sale and profits will go directly to supporting our farming families.
The exhibition will also incorporate rustic displays and art work for sale.
Details: Bendigo Town Hall, opening night is Friday, November 8, from 7-9pm.
Tickets are $25 and available at bendigoregion.com.au/explore-bendigo/life-on-the-land
The opening will be conducted by Bendigo Mayor Margaret O'Rourke.
There will be a banquet table of cheeses, breads, fruits and refreshments, plus a demonstration painting by Terry, which will be auctioned, lucky door prizes and raffle.
Following the launch, the exhibition will be open on Saturday, November 9, and Sunday, November 10, from 10am-4pm.
