There was a large crowd and strong entry numbers at Victoria's Sheep Show at Ballarat last Sunday.
The rebranded show attracted about 400 sheep entries, 100 entries to the sheep dog trials and about 100 entries in the alpaca show.
In the interbreed judging, it was a ram from Aurora Hampshire Downs, St Helens Plains, that was awarded supreme interbreed sheep of the show as well as supreme interbreed shortwool exhibit.

The feature breed this year was the Poll Dorset, judged by Peter Cain, Glenore, Carisbrook, and his 14-year-old daughter Charlotte.
Mr Cain said he was impressed with the line-up of sheep with some big studs entered, and that there was quality right through the classes.
He said the presentation of sheep was excellent and a credit to the breeders, particularly given the difficult season in most areas.
"The champion ewe and ram were both true to type, and had body depth, spring of rib and muscling," he said.
"The breed is in a good position with these sheep that are true to type."
