A 24-month old sire prospect attracted the top price of $11000 at the 6th annual on-farm Tennysonvale Simmental Fleckvieh female and bull sale on account the Baldry family, Illabo.
Purchased by Doug and Jan Bradshaw, Blue Dog Simmentals, Wandoan, Queensland through Elite Auctions, Tennysonvale Noah by Mallee Hector was viewed last week by the Bradshaw's who were impressed by the bull's length and sound conformation.

Other good bull sales included Tennysonvale Nitrate purchased for $8500 by G.C and V.J Muller, Mount Gambier East, South Australia and Tennysonvale Nick bought by S.R and R.E White, Kingaroy, QLD for $6000.
In the female offering equal top price of $5000 was paid by Summa Simmentals, Middlemount, QLD for Tennysonvale Nora sired by Tennysonvale Kip; and VMC Corp Pty Ltd, Catherine Field who added Tennysonvale Natalia by Tennysonvale Leada to their growing Simmental herd on the southern highlands.
The auction was settled by Elders studstock, Wagga Wagga, with Joe Wilks wielding the gavel and interfaced with Elite Auctions.
