Saputo Dairy Australia is providing $30,000 to fund the upgrade of the Kiewa netball courts.
"This has been a long time coming and the whole club is very passionate about the upgrade," Kiewa Sandy Creek Netball Club treasurer Dawn Cardwell said.
"This upgrade will allow the club members to get full use of the facilities and guarantee that the club will continue to support the community's sporting activity for years to come."
Sapto chief executive Lino A. Saputo, Jr said the funding was part of the company's Legacy Program, aimed at actively participating in improving facilities and helping communities lead active and healthy lifestyles.
"As part of its commitment to be an engaged, responsible and leading corporate citizen, the company established the Saputo Legacy Program - an initiative to invest in communities by helping fund the improvement of sport and health facilities," Mr Saputo said.
Local projects, like the upgrade to the Kiewa Sandy Creek Netball courts, which are part of the Kiewa/Tangambalanga community, enabled Saputo to carry out its efforts to encourage families to be physically active and make meaningful contributions in communities where employees lived, worked and played.
Since its launch, Saputo had contributed approximately $2.4 million toward 39 Legacy projects in Canada, the United States, Argentina and Australia.
