THE government is creating an environment for farm businesses to thrive, according to assistant minister to the deputy prime minister Luke Hartsuyker.

Minister Hartsuyker was the keynote speaker at Wednesday’s ABARES Regional Outlook conference in Griffith, NSW, where he said he was optimistic about the industry’s future.
Over 70 farmers and stakeholders attended the conference, to hear current commodity data, forecasts, and industry analysis.
