Offering an advertised yarding of 30,000 head, most lines of 09-drop young ewes, spring shorn, made $140 to $178 a head before topping late in the sale at $197 on a April shorn lot that was East Loddon blood, Warwillah bred.
This range of resultant prices, which also saw some lines within this age group sold between $114 and $130, varied markedly on the results of the Hay sale held a month earlier where main stream prices ranged from $170- $215, topping at $237.
