Just like two weekends ago, this recent rain was focused on central and northern districts, bringing as much as 50 to 100mm, close to their monthly average.
Mildura's 64mm is twice their monthly average. Amongst the wettest were Beechworth with 85mm and Mt Hotham with 110mm.
The southeast and southwest were left begging for more once again.
During these two recent 'wet' weekends, Sale in West Gippsland only gained a total of 10mm and Edenhope in the Wimmera only 25mm.
During these weekends Melbourne gained 90mm, Bacchus Marsh 120mm, Beechworth 130mm and Mt Hotham a whopping 240mm. Even Mildura in the far northwest picked up 95mm, including 64mm this weekend, their biggest two-day total in seven years and biggest November rain in 49 years.
With just 380mm for the year so far, Sale is about 160mm short of its average. In contrast Bendigo's 870mm for the year is double the end-of-November average.
This week will be generally dry north of the ranges, giving farmers a chance to harvest.
