The wet conditions have meant there have many headers that have become bogged, with most easily removed with a tractor.
However, farmers are urged to learn the correct way to pull out separate models of headers as there have been reports of damage after farmers attempted to extract their machine from a bog incorrectly.
Machinery experts warn that there can be serious damage to headers, including the body being twisted up so severely the machine can be written off.
