Doug Nicholls, Nugong Pastoral Co, Seaspray, only offered one pen of steers at the Rodwells Heyfield annual feature spring sale last Friday. While Doug only sold one pen, it was the top price achieved in a very strong market. Doug sold 18 Angus yearling steers, estimated to weigh 550 kilograms liveweight for $1770, a price that Doug was very grateful to receive.
