PLANNING PRESSURE: Kilmore planning consultant Annemaree Docking says failure to adequately protect agricultural land is increasing pressure on land zoned for farming, around Melbourne and regional centres.

A Kilmore planner says Victoria's councils and the State government's inconsistent response to protecting agricultural land in peri-urban areas is leading to increasing pressure from housing development.
