The breeding juggernaut arrived at the Euroa female weaner sale on Wednesday, delivering impressive prices that peaked at $4700 a head.
Joined Angus heifers sold to $4375, paid for young heifers, pregnancy-tested-in-calf, for a February/March calving, offered by Michael, Olga and Marcus Hill, Connamara Angus, Ruffy.
In total, the feature line of the Hill family's offering of 31 joined heifers averaged $4192, all purchased by a return breeder from Locksley.
The sale yarded 2500 females, including 400 joined heifers, which Nutrien Ag Solutions Euroa manager Russell Mawson said sold from $3000-$4000.
"A farmer can handle flood, fire and drought but they can't handle grass in the paddock," Mr Mawson said.
The sale high in the joined young heifer run peaked at $4550, paid for 13 Angus heifers with 13 calves at foot, offered by O'Kane family, Benalla, purchased by Gooram Springs, Gooram.

There were more than 1000 unjoined heifer weaners sold, with the majority selling from $1850-$2200.
Overall, the market hit a top of $4700, paid for the top cows with calf units offered by Neville and Carol Bredden, Creightons Creek, as part of a 60-head Angus female dispersal at the sale.
Commission buyer Graeme Ward purchased two B-Double loads bound for Queensland and SA.
"Cattle have gone everywhere, it was a good day to be an agent and a farmer," Mr Mawson said.
