O'Connors, Australia's largest Case IH dealer, has expanded its operations into central and western Victoria.
The company has bought the Agrimac locations in Ballarat and St Arnaud, increasing its footprint to 12 locations.
It cements O'Connors' spot as the country's largest Case IH dealership.
O'Connors chief executive Gareth Webb said the business had been looking for opportunities for more growth following its expansion into Central West NSW in 2018-2019.
"O'Connors is a family business built on great customer relationships, commitment to service, knowledge of the industry and 57 years of experience," he said.
"The acquisition of the Agrimac Case IH dealerships is a great opportunity to extend our footprint into a diverse agricultural region, combining our experience with the knowledge that is already in the Ballarat and St Arnaud businesses.
"O'Connors is looking forward to the challenge of entering a new market.'
"We are excited to be able to bring the region the strength and customer benefits a larger dealership network provides."
The 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 Case IH Dealer of the Year, O'Connors now has branches across three states in Birchip, Warracknabeal, Horsham, Shepparton, Bordertown, SA, Corowa, West Wyalong, Condobolin, Forbes and Grenfell, NSW.
The finalisation of the Agrimac deal is expected by June 1, 2021.
Current Agrimac dealer principal Hugh McEachern will continue to own and operate the Warrnambool and Hamilton dealership branches.
The O'Connor business started in Birchip in north west Victoria in 1964 when John James ("JJ") O'Connor purchased his first International Harvester dealership.
He grew up on the family farm at Wail near Horsham with his seven brothers.
His first job was working as a stock and station agent for Dalgety's at Minyip.
The company he founded now employs more than 190 staff.
It also has a Mitsubishi dealership in Warracknabeal.
O'Connors also offers a number of other major farm machinery brands including Flexicoil, Gason, Grizzly and Horwood Bagshaw.
