A whopping 26 beef studs across western Victoria and South Australia opened their gates for day two of Stock & Land Beef Week on Thursday.
The day was an opportunity for stud principals to show off their breeding stock and properties to existing and prospective clients, marking 30 years in 2021 since Beef Week started.
Studs that opened their gates on the single largest day of Beef Week in 2021 included Bra-Ma Hereford, Caladenia Limousin, Cara Park Salers, Chalon Maine-Anjou/Hereford, Cope Red Angus, Ebenezer Park South Devon, Karowa Speckle Park, Mount Gambier Limousin, Rellum Farms Simmental, Bassano Angus, Admetus Twinners and Boonaroo Angus.
The showcase also featured 14 other studs including Eloora Shorthorn, Frontiere Limousin, Glenfern Hereford, Grangeburn Simmental, Kurra-Wirra Red Angus/Senegus, Lindsay Murray Grey, Melville Park Hereford, Moora Hereford, Morgiana House Charolais, Murdeduke Angus, Pathfinder Angus, Taronga Hereford, Weeran Angus and Wilkah Hereford.
