People working in agriculture are encouraged to take a photo of what they love about the industry and submit it to Stock & Land for our weekly social media snapshot.
Photos this week include seven-year-old Codi Symons photographed by his aunty Sherri Symons on her property in south-west Victoria.
The Symons family are prime lamb and beef producers at Ellerslie/Ballangeich and produce 80 bales of crossbred wool each year.
After opting to stockpile their wool in 2020, Mrs Symons said the going rate of wool this year would barely cover their expenses.
"It has been difficult to find reliable and decent shearers but that's how everyone has it I guess," she said.
"The season has not been too bad for us, although it always seems to rain when we want to shear."
Meanwhile, Elle Moyle at Pathfinder Angus, Gazette, captured a photo of the dogs taking a run on the quad.
Like many farmers across southern Victoria, Ms Moyle said they had received plenty of rain to start the month.
"We had 15 milliemetres on Monday ... it's been a good season so far with 58mm for the month," she said.
