Higher farm profits on back of lift in income, fall in costs

POSITIVE: A rise in profits has been attributed to strong lamb, mutton and beef prices, and increased availability of feed.

Farm profit has been positively influenced by higher gross farm income and lower costs compared with the previous year according to data collected and analysed in the 2019-20 Livestock Farm Monitor report.
