Western Vic milk production rose 6.8 per cent in August

PRODUCTION UP: WestVic Dairy chair Simone Renyard, who dairy farms with husband Nick, says the exceptional season had a lot to do with the rise in milk production in western Victoria.

Victoria's milk production was four per cent higher in August compared to 2019/20, as national production rose 3.5pc. Production year-to-date for Victoria was 3.9pc higher and 3.2pc nationally.
