There was a cracking pace when just on 2500 first-cross ewes were yarded at Narrandera.
The top price of $382 was paid for 212 June/July 2019-drop, August-shorn and sired by Bauer BL rams from North Ashrose-blood ewes.
Sold on account the Burden family, North South Grazing Partnership, Narrandera they were purchased by repeat buyer from Mt Gambier, SA.
Two other lines sold for $370 and $364.
Second top price was $381 paid for 210 June/July '19 drop, July-shorn and sired by Gleneith Super Borders sold on account Kember family, Gleneith, Ganmain.
Their second pen sold for $370.
P and M Burden, Collinrubbie received $360 for their pen of 138 June/July '19 drop, August-shorn ewes: Andrew Cumming, Methul sold 216 April/May'19 drop, July-shorn ewes sired by Gleneith Super Borders for $355 and P and V Walsh, Grong Grong sold 80 April/May '19 drop, August-shorn ewes for $350.
Other sales included 55 August/September '19-drop, August-shorn and sired by Retallack BL sold for $350 by Cuddell Pty Ltd, Narrandera and $300 for 250 July/August '19 drop ewes sold on account F.G and J.L Cuteri, Collinrubbie.
The Durnan family, Frying Pan Creek, Narrandera sold 397 March/April '20 drop, August-shorn ewes sired by Cadell BL rams for $320.
