Victorian Premier Dan Andrews says he's happy to take up the case of residents outside of the 40 kilometre South Australian "border bubble."
A new South Australia-Victoria 40-kilometre buffer zone came back into effect from Friday, allowing people living within that zone free travel to and from school or work.
But the 40km limit is causing concern, for those living outside it.

Mr Andrews said Victorian continued to keep South Australia up to date with case numbers.
"That includes providing the most contemporary data, so a couple of times a week, we provide all our test results, just to confirm there are no cases or close contacts in that 40 kilometre bubble,' he said.
The government continued to talk with the NSW authorities as well.
"I have tried to be as fair and frank as I can be,' Mr Andrews said.
'Where there are things we can do to make a difficult set of circumstances a little easier, not easy, a little easier, we have done so.
'Is it everything, everyone wants? No, but I am quite happy to keep working on that."
He said he was not critical of the NSW or South Australian premiers for closing their borders.
"I know it's tough but I understand where they are coming from," Mr Andrews said.
"If the situation was the other way around, we would have done the same thing."
He said Prime Minister Scott Morrison was entitled to his view, about border closures, but the only way they would reopen was if coronavirus levels came down to the lowest level possible.
