As regional Victoria re-enters stage three COVID-19 lockdown restrictions, farmers remain optimistic about the challenging and uncertain times ahead.

This week's social media snapshot highlights how farmers are keeping busy during these strange times.

First-time contributor Angie Perdrisat, Lethbridge, shared a photo of her pet steer, Microdot, who acts as a companion for her Angus bull near Geelong.

In south-west Victoria, lamb marking kicked off last week with the Hopkins family at Ellerslie/Ballangeich getting stuck into the tiring task.

In Victoria's east, Mel Ainsworth snapped a photo of a newborn calf at Willung while farm caretaker Meg Clothier, Penola, SA, shared a photo of a Hereford cow.

Meanwhile, Silk Southdowns, Bulart, shared an adorable photo of a new lamb which featured recently in a virtual show.
