It's time to get snapping, the Casterton Kelpie Association has adapted to the coronavirus pandemic, by holding this year's photographic competition online.
While the annual Kelpie Muster, due to have been held over the Queens's Birthday weekend, has been postponed until October, the photography competion will still go ahead.
The Casterton Kelpie Association president Karen Stephens said the annual muster would now be held on Saturday October 24 and Sunday October 25.
"We are proud to have Fox & Lillie Rural sponsoring the photography competition again this year, and encourage everyone to get clicking, have some fun and show us your amazing photography skill," Ms Stephens said.
The competition includes two sections and the photo must be taken by the nominated entrant:
16 years & under section:
Favourite Kelpie Festival photo
Best Dressed Kelpie/s
Kelpie in Isolation
Adult section:
Favourite Kelpie Festival
Favourite Casterton Working Dog Auction
Kelpie Working in Isolation
The annual Australian Kelpie Muster has become an iconic annual event, attracting breeders and visitors from all around Australia.
