TWO North East agricultural shows have been cancelled for spring because of the impact of COVID-19.
Organisers of the Wangaratta and Benalla shows, due to be held on October 9-10 and October 16-17 respectively, have opted not to run their events this year.
They expressed sorrow at the cancellations but deemed it too difficult to proceed.
In April it was announced that Victoria's biggest show, Royal Melbourne, would not be held this September following the outbreak of the coronavirus.
