It was East Gippsland's turn to open up for Stock & Land Beef Week.
Some beef studs in the high country that had been impacted by catastrophic fire even managed to open their gates despite the devastation they had faced.
There were seven studs open today, including Mawarra Genetics (who had three breeds on display), Mundook Hereford and Poll Hereford, Newcomen Hereford and Poll Hereford, Nunniong Hereford and Poll Hereford, Sharinda Angus, Warringa Hereford and Poll Hereford and Willack Poll Hereford.
