Gippsland-based Burra Foods will have a new chief executive officer as current managing director and CEO, Grant Crothers, steps down.
The announcement was made in a letter to suppliers.
A company spokesperson confirmed that Stewart Carson, the current General Manager Manufacturing and Supply Chain, would become CEO.
Mr Crothers would take up a position as executive director and would remain involved in the business but not on a day-to-day basis.
Mr Carson joined Burra Foods in June 2015 with more than 20 years of experience in the dairy industry.
He had operations management and technical experience with Kraft Foods before joining Bega Cheese where he managed the milk supply teams.
Burra Foods had a range of dairy products utilising Australia's reputation for clean, high grade milk, according to its website.
