The Cahirblonig Merino stud sold 17 rams at its annual on-property sale at Wareek.
Stud principal Matthew Ipsen presented 32 rams for buyers who came from as far as Giffard in Gippsland.
There was good support from Clunes, Werona, Avoca, Cross Roads, and local areas.
Australian Wool Network's Jason Rothe, Ballarat, said the sale was well supported.
He said people attending understood the benefits of non-mulesing and the bare breech attributes of the Cahirblonig sheep.
Mr Ipsen said this year's offering of rams were around two weeks younger than 2018.
Her said wool from non-mulsed sheep was achieving a 200 cents/kilogram premium.
The sale was conducted using the Helmsman system.
Lot 9 made equal top of $2100. The ram had a micron of 16.3 along with a standard deviation of 2.6, co-effficient of variation of 16 and a comfort factor of 100. The ram was bought by Karee Wool account Alister Longmire and Robert Glen, Werona.
The same buyes paid $1500 for lot 14 a 15.6 micron ram with an SD of 2.7, CV of 15.6 and CF of 99.9.
The second ram to make $2100 was lot 17 a 16.3 micron ram that held figures of 3.2 SD, 19.6 CV and 99.7 CF. Buyer was Murray Cook, Clunes.
Mr Cook also bought lot 15 at $2000 and lot 22 for $1500. The lot 15 rqm was a 16 micron sire with a SD of 3.3 and CV of 20.6.
