For their sixth southern production ram sale, Margie Pye and her son Sandy offered 77 Dohne rams from their Uardry, Calga and DD Dohne studs, at Caroonboon, Wanganella.
Top price paid was $5000, while 76/77 rams sold for average price $1774.34.

Calga stud - 10/10 sold - top price $2000, average $1300
DD Dohne stud - 49/49 sold - top price $3000, average $1797.96
Ex-stud - 9/9 sold - top price $5000, average $2333.33
Uardry - 8/9 sold - top price $3000, average $1593.75
Speaking after the sale, Mrs Pye said she was appreciative of the support shown by return and new buyers, along with the staff at Caroonboon.
"I know the season is a bit better here than at Coonamble, and the support shown today has been wonderful," she said.
"We are proud of the rams and especially with the way they have grown through a dry season."
The sale was settled by Landmark, Deniliquin with auctioneering duties shared by Peter Godbolt, Landmark and Ron Rutledge, Elders.
