BEC Skene has spent plenty of time in the show ring exhibiting cattle, and now she's starting to hit her straps as a judge.
Miss Skene was recently judging at the Alice Springs Show, where she looked after the store cattle, the stud led section and the junior events.
She grew up in the Simmental breed, with her parents establishing the Meldon Park stud 35 years ago.
The 25-year-old spends her time in between her family stud at Cecil Plains and her partner Ben Passmore's Benjarra Limousins stud at Clifton.

Miss Skene has been judging for the past four years, mostly at local shows, but she's also handled the junior judging finals as over-judge at EKKA.
It was a natural progression, having been part of the industry for many years.
"I was always going to go into the cattle industry, because the stud has always shown cattle, but when I finished school we got into it properly," she said.
"We do the local shows then the western run to promote our sale at Moura.
"We were going to shows every weekend, so people started asking me whether I was interested in judging."
It took a while to get the hang of it, but she's more confident with each show.
"The more experience you get, the better judging is," Miss Skene said.
"Being able to judge means people get to see my point of view and how we're trying to run our seedstock operation.
"I did a little bit of junior judging and junior camps, but I wish I had done more, because I think it's harder to get over nerves when you're older. But once that first class is over and done with you're in a groove and you end up enjoying it."
While she's only been judging for a few years, she's also learnt a lot from exhibiting at shows.
Some of the highlights for the stud have been winning the champion of champions pair with Meldon Park Matador, who was exhibited alongside Ellendale Red Supermodel, at the 2018 EKKA, along with taking out champion interbreed bull at Beef Australia last year with Meldon Park Major Player.
"Our win at Beef Australia with our bull was a big moment for the stud and we've had great feedback on him, which reaffirms that what we're doing with the stud, is the right direction. That's the sort of bull our clients want."
Miss Skene said she hopes to gain more experience judging, at higher levels.
"I'd love the opportunity to go to a royal show and judge, where you can cast your eye over more cattle."
