Beef Week committee member and life member of the Angus Society Joy Potter has passed away.
Ms Potter had been on the Beef Week committee for over 20 years, and held many other positions in rural industry bodies, including as a board member of the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV).
She was also a member of the RASV Heritage committee and Angus Society's Victorian committee.
She was married to the late Bob Potter, who was a former RASV president and manager of Yarram Park Hereford stud, Willaura.
With her son Ned Kelly, she ran a commercial Angus operation at Wooriwest, at Caramut in south-west Victoria.
