Auzure is the result of years of hard work by two farming brothers Bob and Pete Mac Smith.
In the early 1990's, the fifth generation Orange-district farmers had a vision to value add to the crops they grew on their property near the picturesque village of Cudal in Central Western NSW.
They built a small oilseed crushing plant on the family farm and spent the next 14 years developing their processes, building valuable relationships with farmers and growing a sustainable leading Australian agri-business.
In 2007, the brothers moved the business to nearby Manildra to capitalise on transport links and streamlined logistics capabilities.
The farming brothers are now directors of MSM Milling in Manildra, which is a large supplier of oils to Australian and international food manufacturers, distributors and food service companies.

The canola seeds are sourced from more than 1,000 local farmers, and crushed and bottled in Manildra.
The plant only accepts Non-GM canola seeds, meaning Auzure is certified Non-GM by SGS Australia, as well as Non-GMO Project Certified.
The regionally based oilseed plant uses a unique expeller pressing technique to extract the oil from the canola seeds. It differs vastly from the common practice of using chemical or solvent extraction to take oil from canola seed.
Most Australian and global canola oil is produced by solvent extraction. Instead of using chemicals to extract oil, Auzure canola oil is produced by pressing the seeds to squeeze the oil out.
Auzure has a neutral taste, making it ideal for a range of cooking applications. Substitute it for butter in your baking, sauté and stir-fry with it, as well as use in using for shallow frying.
Auzure is demanded across Australia as well as internationally, including into China and Taiwan.
The oil is also available in leading independent stockists in regional NSW and the ACT, including selected IGA Supermarkets, SPAR Supermarkets as well as The Agrestic Grocer in Orange and Hillside Harvest at Borenore.
The company's success is celebrated globally, with MSM Milling the proud recipient of numerous accolades over the years including being awarded the Premier's NSW Exporter to Asia Award in 2011, while in 2009 it took out the Premier's NSW Regional Exporter Award.

Marianne Mac Smith's ginger bread (Mrs Mac Smith is the mother of directors Pete and Bob)
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 C Healthy Baker Self-raising Flour
- 1 Dessertspoon Ground Ginger
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 Teaspoon Mixed Spice
- 1/4C auzure Canola Oil
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 C Milk
- 1C Golden Syrup
- Heat oven to 180 degrees.
- In a large bowl, mix all dry ingredients together. Add eggs and milk.
- Bring auzure Canola Oil and golden syrup to the boil in a small saucepan, before mixing into the batter.
- Cook for 45 minutes at 180 degrees.
