Soybeans down
Brazilian government analysts have cut the size of its soybean crop by 3.5 million tonnes, or 2.9 per cent since its last report a month ago.
The size of the soybean crop is now expected to be 115.3m tonnes.
Forecasts were cut on the back of dry conditions in key production zones.
It would mean the crop is 4m tonnes smaller than last year's, but it will still be the second largest on record if there are no further cuts.
