Roseville Corriedale stud held their fourth on-property sale at Kingsvale, reaching a $2000 top on three occasions.
Of the 28 rams offered, 20 were sold for a $2000 top price, resulting in their highest sale average of $1434.
First of the top price rams was sold to Rodger Alpass, Kayang Corridales, Terang, Victoria, with Gary Simpson, Arcadian Wool, Geelong, Vic, doing the bidding.
Roseville 160041 had a weaning weight (WWT) of 4.34 kilograms and a post weaning weight (PWWT) of 4.83 kilograms.
Mr Simpson said he was looking for finer wool quality rams with the ability to handle his higher rainfall environment.
“The rams are an overall good purpose rams for both meat and wool traits,” he said.
Rodger Alpass also purchased a further four rams for his newly established Kayang Corridale stud, Vic.
Second top money was paid for Roseville 160053 who had a birth weight (BWT) of 0.14 kg and post weaning (PFAT) of 0.41 and purchased by Brian Taylor, The Pounds, Crookwell.
Repeat buyer Mr Taylor said he had been buying flock rams for 20 years.
The third ram to reach top money was purchased by M and R Bennett, Victoria, who had a birth weight of 0.23 kg and a yearling clean fleece weight (YCFW) of 10.15 kg, which sat one of the top in the catalogue.
The sale was settled by Delta Livestock, Young, with Cameron Rosser tallying the bids.
