Producer-led project Stock Sense is holding another free workshop for livestock owners this time in the Cardinia area.
Being held at the end of October the day will target small area farmers with information and tips about owning livestock in Victoria.
Discussions will include understanding animal diseases and keeping livestock happy and healthy, as well as the legal requirements of owning livestock.
The workshop will be held at Nar Nar Goon Memorial Community Hall on Sunday 28 October, starting at 10.00am and will conclude at 1.30pm with a free lunch.
Stock Sense is a producer-led extension project delivered by VFF Livestock and funded by the Cattle, Sheep and Goat Compensation Funds.
