There were 17 breeds of sheep showcased at the Royal Melbourne Show on the weekend.
Stud breeders from across the state, and interstate, from Tasmania, South Australia, and New South Wales, converged on the Melbourne Showgrounds to show their sheep.
In what is a busy show season, it provided another opportunity for them to benchmark their standout sires and ewes against the best of other breeders’ flocks. It was also an opportunity to catch up with fellow breeders to chat all-things sheep.
