Wheat crop slips to six-year low

DECLINE: The global wheat crop this year is projected to be the smallest wheat areas in six years due to difficult conditions at planting time in parts of the EU, India and Russia.
DECLINE: The global wheat crop this year is projected to be the smallest wheat areas in six years due to difficult conditions at planting time in parts of the EU, India and Russia.

The International Grains Council (IGC) is projecting a smaller global wheat crop this year, based on a projected 1.4 million hectare drop in planted area.
