There were 2500 cattle advertised for the third and final day of the second week of weaner sales at the Northern Victoria Livestock Exchange near Wodonga.
The premier annual Hereford, Angus X Hereford, Euro and others, grown and weaner sale featured many lines of cattle especially prepared by vendors for this sale.
Among many quality lines, there were 100 Shorthorn and Shorthorn cross steers, 15-16 months advertised on account G. and S. Bawden, Holbrook, while McKoy and Son, Holbrook, offered 50 Hereford steers, 21-22 months of age and 40 Hereford steers 16-17 months.
Sleigh Pastoral Co, Jerilderie, advertised 100 Poll Hereford steers at 8-9 months, while Isabel Webb, Morven, offered 100 Hereford steers, 6-9 months.
Today’s sale was conducted by Wodonga agents Elders and Landmark.
