Quality always sells well at Leongatha

Tony and Elizabeth Landy, Walkerville, offered their annual draft of Angus steer and heifer weaners at Leongatha, Thursday. Their 400 steers sold to $1280, and averaged $1094, which was a firm sale. Their 100 heifers sold to $1060, which was dearer at times.

South Gippsland is the land of milk and honey, or at least plenty of grass. This saw many of the larger yarding of 2170 head present in very good condition, which was appreciated by the many who purchased.
