Southern New South Wales growers still have the opportunity to join a series of dynamic and practical agribusiness development workshops aimed at helping growers to work smarter, not harder, for greater yields and profits.
Regional Development Australia (RDA) Murray and Food Innovation Australia Limited (FIAL) are hosting the workshops which aim to brief growers about emerging opportunities and provide insights into how to improve profitability by accessing new markets.
It is about working smarter to gain greater benefits.
Over the course of two workshops growers can explore real world examples of innovation in agribusiness, receive coaching to enhance skills to help improve profits and connect with like-minded farmers and producers in the area.
This program will explore ideas such as reviewing how an agribusiness can operate differently to enhance profitability, whether its tapping into niche high end markets, growing higher value crops or establishing subscription based businesses for selling products into urban areas.
- The first workshop will be held in Culcairn on 28 June, followed by workshops in Wentworth, Barham, Deniliquin, Corowa and Corryong.
