Restockers eager at Leongatha

Gary Anthony, Meeniyan, sold a draft of 12mo Hereford steers (pictured) and heifers at Leongatha on Thursday. The tops of the steers, 405kg, returned $1710. "We sold early because it's good money. We sold last year's tailenders at 16mo in January and the tops, 414kg, made $1305," Mr Anthony said.
