Wheat futures soaring a safe harvest


Wheat futures are soaring to their highest levels since the middle of the year.

Wheat futures have soared in the past week, providing the best news for producers since the middle of the year.


Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) futures pushed through to US421 cents a bushel on Monday morning, a jump of over five per cent in the past week.

The surge is being led by strong US export data and an upturn in Chinese demand, along with traders exiting short positions.
