A TOTAL of 5548 cattle were offered at today's regular Tuesday Roma store sale.
A good number of buyers were in attendance with all the usual commission buyers and some local restocker buyers according to the early market report issued by the saleyards association.
It was a mixed quality yarding of cattle.
In some early sales, the Russell family, Wodonga, Mungalalla, sold 225kg Charolais-cross steers to 198c/kg for to make $445/head.
The Gobbert family, Amboola, Mitchell, sold 278kg Charolais-cross steers to 181c to return $504.
The Glassen family, Coopers Run, Blackall, sold 339kg Santa steers to 180c to make $612.
Livistona Grazing, Palm Vista, Taroom, sold 417kg Droughtmaster steers to 169c to return $706.
