Colin said the 126.5kg ram was one they had bred themselves with New Zealand bloodlines, he was also a son of champion ewes.
"He is heavy but with a lean body score," he said. "He will be used as a ram in our stud this year."
The ram recorded 11 fat and 99 muscle width.
Woodhall brought a team of five to the show as the sole exhibitor of the breed.
