Davilak Pastoral Co, Mansfield, has enjoyed a great season, and their 500 Angus steers, to be sold Wednesday, January 3, through Corcoran Parker, will present very well.
Sired by Glendaloch bulls, they have been yard weaned. Drenched with Vetmec, vaccinated 3x5-in-1. and Selovina LA, will only enhance their ongoing performance.
Rod Manning has spent many years building up a sizable herd of Angus cows, and has now passed the reins over to son, Rodda and siblings.
Continuing the tradition of yard weaning their steers, and combined with a very good season, the Davilak steers will present in very good condition this year.
Repeat buyers play a big part in the competition for the Davilak steers, as they know the capabilities of them to fatten, and produce quality beef.
Selling agent, Corcoran Parker will draft these steers by weight and quality, and will create pen lots suitable for all buyers on the day.
The Manning family are more than happy to discuss their breeding program, and inform on their past successes. No heifers will be offered, as the family retain all progeny, some for their own breeding program, and also to fulfill a fattening program, they have run now for several years. Remember that these steers will be sold on Wednesday, January 3.
