The trial of a Bega woman charged with murder has been rescheduled for early next year.

The murder trial for Rosemary Priscilla Mackie of Bega has been adjourned until January 29, 2018.

The Supreme Court trial was due to begin in Bega Courthouse on Monday, October 16. 

Ms Mackie has pleaded not guilty to the murder of fellow Bega woman Marnie-Lee Cave, 26. 

Ms Cave’s body was found under Handcocks Bridge near Tathra on the morning of  October 14, 2015. 

The trial is estimated to run for five weeks.
