KUBOTA dealers flew in from across Australia to see machinery in action at the annual dealer conference held in Avalon, Victoria.
Representatives from over 140 dealerships had the opportunity to test drive the new product range as well as attend demonstrations run by product experts.
Lars Pasedag, senior product manger for Kubota Tractors Australia said he was pleased to have the opportunity to showcase the latest product range.
“The dealer conference provides an unparalleled visitor experience,” he said.
Equipment from Kubota brand Kvernland was displayed, alongside new acquisition Great Plains.
German machinery company Krone, which is distributed by Kubota also showcased their forage harvesting equipment.
Steve Kiam, dealership manager for the David Evans Group based in Toowoomba said it was worth the trip.
“It was a fantastic opportunity to see what’s new from Kubota, particularly the expansion of the implement range with the Great Plains tillage equipment,” he said.
Also on display were the core Kubota offering of mowers, small tractors and equipment suitable for small holdings or lifestyle blocks.
Dealers Anthony and Michelle White, White’s Tractors travelled from Goulburn, NSW to attend the conference.
Mr White said as Goulburn was a large lifestyle market, his interest was in the smaller tractor range, as well as the mowers on display.
“Kubota have a fantastic range of ride-on and zero turn mowers, which is a big market for us,” he said.
“At the same time we have the farm based customers who grow hay and silage equipment.”
Mr and Mrs White said the dealer conference and the chance to see the entire Kubota range was important to their business, particularly having access to the larger equipment on offer from Kvernland and Great Plains.
“We’ve never had access to, or sold it before,” she said.
Both Mr and Mrs White were positive about the future of Kubota.
“Kubota’s history is that it has been a small tractor company, but it is also a growing tractor company,” he said.
“We have been a Kubota dealer for 35 years, we have seen the growth over the years, particularly in the last 10 where they have doubled their turnover in Australia.
